This study focuses on the critical role of evidence-based guidelines in healthcare delivery. It explores their impact on patient care, resource efficiency, and accountability. The research centers on the implementation of evidence-based guidelines within healthcare settings, particularly for sickle cell disease. The study employs a qualitative approach, recruiting participants from various healthcare roles.

The research is part of the Applied Doctoral Research Project (ADRP), the capstone project for a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program. It’s designed for educational purposes, allowing the candidate to demonstrate high-level research skills. The ADRP employs a single case study design, focusing on a specific business practice issue within one organization. The research is approved by the Liberty University Institutional Review Board (IRB).

With her extensive educational background and wealth of experience, Peggy Ann Russ-Williams is poised to make significant contributions to the field of business administration through her research endeavors and practical applications of knowledge.
